A native southerner and Georgia resident of more than 30 years , I earned my law degree from Atlanta's Emory University in 1978. In 1982, I started my practice as a worker comp attorney in GA representing victims in workers' compensation cases.

Since 1992, I have been a member of the Chairman's Advisory Council of the State Board of Workers Compensation. As a GA worker comp attorney, I have organized and spoken yearly at regional seminars sponsored by the State Board of Workers Compensation since 1992. I have also organized and spoken at many different seminars throughout the state for fellow lawyers and others.
I have also served as a faculty member on the Georgia Workers Compensation Claim Management Training Program.
